The grip length is 123mm but can be trimmed to 114mm if required and has open ends so that bar end weights can be fitted. Sealed for life. Up to 50degC. Rainproof switch. Draws under 4A. The Oxford Hot Grips are great for the winter ride. They get very warm, and I have never needed to set them above halfway (even in -5 degree Celsius weather). They pair very well with winter gloves. The installation was very simple (after the stock grips are removed). Though, you need to be careful to ensure the throttle grip does not rub against the handlebar controls. Whilst they are marketed as 'sports', they are still fairly bulky and detract from the clean look of the bike. There is plenty of cable to hide the control out of site. (Posted on 11/04/2019)Overall

I have owned these on a few bikes. They are well built and easy to use as well as fit. I have used these in all sorts of riding conditions and they have defiantly kept my hands toasty. I’ve been riding motorcycles for over 30 years and street bikes for 23 years. I just experienced heated grips for the first time last week and I’m disappointed that I’ve waited so long. It hasn’t been cold yet but on a 60 degree morning the Oxford grips at 40% felt amazing and plenty hot! At 40% the temp was comparable to cradling a hot cup of coffee between your hands. I imagine these grips would be capable of keeping your hands warm no matter the temperature. I will never have a bike without Oxford heated grips again. No noticeable increase in size over non heated grips. Grip texture feels very positive and comfortable as well. Many thumbs up!!! 2015 Versys 650 (Posted on 11/08/2019)Overall

I installed these on my last bike, a Kawasaki KLR650, and was very pleased. Would do a good job of keeping my hands toasty even through gloves. Don't think I ever used the highest setting. I will be getting a set for my new bike soon. (Posted on 11/05/2024)Overall
