I bought this item together with the 42 liter aluminium topcase from Givi. It's nice and soft, not as hard as the BMW 's backrest on their 32 liter aluminium topcase. Great backrest. Couldn't live without it. Otherwise the hinges bite into your passenger's back. Worth the money, take extra care when installing. Might be a good idea to add more adhesive before you install. (Posted on 07/07/2023)Overall
