Sw Motech R1300 Gs Brake Pedal Extension

SW-MOTECH designed this custom-milled aluminum brake pedal extension for the original brake lever of the BMW R 1300 GS.

SW-MOTECH makes the extensions from milled, high-strength aluminum alloy with a black anodized surface and stainless steel base plate. For an optimal ergonomic fit, you can adjust the base of the brake pedal on two levels, 22 or 27 millimeters.

The brake pedal extension is perfect for off-road driving: it completes the original brake pedal base, ensuring a safe and well-calibrated rest on the brake. The extension allows both an expansion and a lifting of the support surface. The brake pedal extension therefore offers greater safety and better control of the rear wheel brake.

When driving off-road you often switch from a sitting position to a standing position. In the latter case, the knee angle changes and it is possible that the foot exerts less pressure on the pedal. By raising the support surface, the foot flexes more and is able to comfortably reach and control the brake lever even in an upright position. The lift can be adjusted in two different levels.

In addition to the lift, the brake pedal extension has a larger contact surface. It is equipped with a toothed surface, thus offering a better seal if the surface of the lever is dirty or wet.
