To achieve maximum ventilation, a technical adaptation of Bernoulli's principle is applied to HJC's aerodynamically enhanced models. In motion, the speed of the surface flow generally increases as it moves towards the back of the helmet. Through pressure differences, cold air from the front intake is drawn out through the rear vent, dissipating internal heat and ensuring the rider optimal ventilation and perfect airflow during the ride.

In-mold is a method that involves welding the EPS together with the outer polycarbonate shell for greater structural strength. This improves rider protection by providing compact reinforcement and giving the product a perfect finish.

A certain amount of air passes through the front air intake duct, then circulates inside the helmet, and finally exits through the exhaust duct. The internal airflow is thus enhanced to cool the head and dissipate heat.

Aero Time Trial helmets come with a visor to improve rider comfort and visibility. HJC aerodynamic helmets are designed to have the same aerodynamic performance with and without a visor.

All helmets are integrated with special Polygiene Silver Salt (Silver Chloride) particles.
