The Adwatt was designed through enhanced wind tunnel testing to improve its drag performance on the track. Using the HJC ADWATT time trial helmet, Victor Campenaerts and the LOTTO SOUDAL UCI World Tour team broke the UCI HOUR RECORD in April 2019.

The Adwatt was designed through wind tunnel testing to enhance drag performance on the track. This helmet features 2 vents and weighs approximately 260 g without the visor and 320 g with the visor. HJC successfully met the challenge of developing an Aero helmet that is efficient both with and without the visor, creating a helmet that is fast and extra ventilated at the same time.

This helmet comes with a premium bag to protect the helmet and visor when traveling.

To achieve maximum ventilation, a technical adaptation of Bernoulli's principle is applied to HJC's aerodynamically enhanced models. In motion, the surface flow speed generally increases as it moves towards the rear of the helmet. Through pressure differences, cold air from the front intake is extracted through the rear vent, dissipating internal heat and ensuring the rider optimal ventilation and perfect airflow while riding.

In-mold is a method that involves welding the EPS together with the outer polycarbonate shell for greater structural strength. This enhances rider protection by providing compact reinforcement and giving the product a perfect finish.

Aero Time Trial helmets come with a visor to enhance rider comfort and visibility; HJC aerodynamic helmets are designed to have the same aerodynamic performance with and without the visor.

All helmets are integrated with special Polygiene Silver Salt (Silver Chloride) particles. Polygiene is an antimicrobial property, and this natural ingredient has sufficient capability to eliminate the growth of bacteria and fungi. Polygiene permanently prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria and fungi at the source.
