Among the most famous Italian brands in the motocross and enduro environment there is Acerbis, initially specialized in the processing and molding of plastic materials for motorcycles, over time the company has added to its catalog a wide range of offroad accessories as well as clothing both for the road and for the off-road vehicle. Acerbis was founded in 1973 by Franco Acerbis, has two offices: one in Albino in Italy, and one in the United States. Linked to the Scott brand, in 1993 it launched its own plastic for Yamaha TT 600, which was the first Japanese high-powered motorcycle produced entirely outside Japan. In the 90s, driven by the success obtained with the plastics (handguards, saddles, kits and tanks) is also dedicated to motorcycle clothing. Later it was also dedicated to the production of uniforms for both professional and amateur soccer teams. Even today it is one of the largest Italian manufacturers of soccer clothing. One of the most multifaceted brands in the Italian industrial scene that has also been dedicated to the production of home furnishings. Acerbis currently produces a wide range of products for motorcyclists, from helmets to clothing, from boots to protections to all the accessories for motorcycle maintenance and for races on motocross fields. X-seat is one of the patents owned by Acerbis for motocross / enduro saddles. In recent years the brand has had an enormous visibility given by the sponsorship of the Superbike and Moto GP races.
