The breathable 3D mesh for premium breathability has been incorporated throughout the chest, back, and inner arms and has been combined with 450D polyester on the outer arms, shoulders, and hips for CE-certified abrasion resistance. For excellent levels of range of motion and freedom of movement, the FQ20 Zaca Air features stretch softshell inserts in the chest and thoracic areas, as well as the shoulder blades and around the rider's neck, providing a perfect fit for the Tech-Air® 5 or Tech-Air® 3 airbag system.

When it comes to impact protection, the jacket has DFS Lite external shoulder sliders and Nucleon Flex Plus CE Level 1 armor on the shoulders, elbows, and forearms. Internally, the FQ20 Zaca has a detachable 2L waterproof liner to be used when the weather cools down as an additional windbreaker, and it's particularly practical if the rider gets caught in the rain. The detachable hood has an air extraction channel on top to allow air passage and prevent it from filling up and flapping.
