EN 1621-02/03 LEVEL 02 CERTIFIED. There are two levels of certification that correspond to two very different levels of safety (less residual strength provides better protection) Level 1 Maximum average residual strength 18kN **, maximum strength for a single impact 24 kNLevel 2
- Maximum average residual strength for a single impact 12 kN 9kN **, maximum strenghth. The deflector features and ergonomic design that follows the natural shape of the spine. The back protection is made of d3oTM with a removable lower plate to accommodate shorter riders (1). The deflector is designed to accommodate a neck brace, as the front harness features a removable cover (2) and the back is formed for precise fit of the brace (3). Elastic removable band closure with double Velcro adjustments, preformed PE padding, front protection that extends across the chest 14021 certified, and back padding is removable and washable. The form fitting bodice worn underneath the deflector is made from breathable elastic mesh fabric with removable elbow protections. Shoulders and elbows plastic protections are EN 1621 -1/97 certified. The MX version arm protections, also certified, are removable. The back protection is EN 1621-02/03 LEVEL 2 certified.
