Dainese Smart Jacket LS Sport Airbag Jacket Black/Fluo Red. Ventilated and breathable motorcycle jacket with built-in Dainese D-air® airbag system. Its construction with resistant, elastic and resistant materials and the Pro-Armor Level 2 type B protections on elbows and shoulders offer the highest level of protection and coverage, with maximum comfort and freedom of movement. Smart Jacket LS Sport combines the versatility and performance of a Dainese sports jacket with the intelligence and protection of the Dainese D-air® airbag system. It does not require any connection to the bike and can be used as a normal sports jacket.
The Smart Jacket incorporates the latest generation of D-Air technology derived and developed over 25 years in MotoGP. Thanks to its complex algorithm, it automatically recognizes dangerous situations and activates immediately when necessary. The system activates and protects you in case of slips, falls, collisions with an obstacle or another vehicle and rear-end collisions, even when stationary.
The D-Air airbag system protects the pilot's back and chest through its Shield protection, a microfilament bag that provides maximum shock absorption without the need for rigid protections. It provides protection equivalent to 7 back protectors without taking up much space.
The brain of the Smart Jacket is the control unit of the Dainese D-Air® system, which, without the need for cables or connections to the bike, automatically detects any dangerous situation and immediately activates the airbag to protect the rider. Always at the right time and only when necessary. A head that thinks and acts for your safety.
The control unit of the Smart Jacket is a brain that detects and analyzes everything that happens around the rider. Monitor and process data 1000 times per second. I have 3 different types of airbags, and the DAINESE is my daily choice. . . I love the big led indicator in the chest that can be see while driving from the rear mirror. The jacket fits great and can be adjusted on the lower side. The jacket is heavy like all the airbags, but at least, is minimal and doesn't take too much space, which is essential while riding with passengers or need to store the Jack in the side box. The battery last long, and I used already for 1 year and I never had any issues. Love the fact that I don't have to worry in case of use a rain jacket as this jacket has all the electronic waterproof, and as well love to have it as only Jacket to wear without having to use extra protections, this jacket has all the protection included "while the Alpinestars 5 has only the chest protection and need to be combined with another jacket to add the arm protection and also protection from rain" Only negative part is that you must connect the jacket to the pc in order to update, while the most of the Alpinestars airbags have a Bluetooth connection.
