The Airo Vest incorporates class leading CE approved back and chest protectors into a stylish and comfortable zip fronted sleeveless vest that has been carefully designed to make the rider feel as though they are NOT wearing armour. The removable back and chest armour is made from a mixture of NitrexEvo® and M15® which combines high levels of impact shock absorption with low profile, flexible, breathable and extremely comfortable performance levels as well as RPT (Repeat performance Technology) ensuring continued and consistent protection even after multiple impacts. The back protector is secured in place when being worn with a unique height adjustable waist band that allows you to fine tune the position for the ultimate fit (or remove completely if so desired). The Airo Vest is constructed from the technically advanced fabric Coolmax® Extreme which effectively moves perspiration away from the body and through the vest, where it can evaporate quickly. The thermoregulatory effect of moisture transport helps maintain body temperature for all day comfort on and off the bike. Comfort levels are aided by flat lock stitching ensuring no hard seams, a heavy duty zip with throat guard and two practical zipped hand pockets. Features: CE approved to EN1621 – 2 (Level 2) the back protector molds to the body’s natural shape when in use creating a supremely comfortable fit. Held firmly in place with the aid of a separate height adjustable waist strap the vest is secured at the front with a high quality zipper. Zipper features a “garage” to enclose the zip at its top point and stop irritation. Full gripper elastic is added at the hem to stop the vest lifting. Low profile back protector is formed from M15 Armor, a specialized polymer from. Nitrile rubber that has been optimized to achieve low weight, flexibility and Repeat. Performance Technology (RPT). RPT ensures protection is given even after multiple impacts and can be easily removed allowing for easy care (washing) of the fleece vest.
