Helite Airbag Off Road Vest Black

HELITE has developed an airbag that meets the needs of riders and the extreme conditions of off-road driving.

This vest is worn under the pilot's jacket.

The dual cartridge design allows for dual priming, giving pilots the option of not having to change the cartridge after the first inflation and continuing to ride immediately.
Developed and approved for off road use, the vest protects vital areas (Kenny Mission EN 1621-3 level 2 chest, SAS TEC level 2 elbows and shoulders) and incorporates Turtle technology (SAS TEC level 1 back protector).
An airbag vest with electronic activation, again without a subscription.

Ergonomic design : a technical and breathable, ultra-resistant and elastic fabric that will adapt perfectly to the morphology of the riders, even when the airbag
is activated.

It is also characterized by its optimized weight.
Adding a second cartridge allows for better weight distribution.


Electronic system : it has a remote button to turn the system on and off, to check the battery level but also to check the operating status
of the airbag.
The Off Road airbag has an autonomy of 25 hours.

Reusable: like the entire HELITE product range, the OFF ROAD airbag jacket is reusable. it is innovative thanks to its double activation system. After the first inflation of the cartridge positioned on the left, the vest deflates automatically and the electronic system switches to the full cartridge (ie the one positioned on the right).
The pilot will then be ready to continue without wasting time, at least 3 minutes elapse between the two activations

Protection of vital areas :
The airbag offers the expertise and experience of HELITE in the protection of vital areas: back, neck, chest, abdomen.

Turtle Technology :
OFF ROAD also offers greater protection on the back (SAS-TECH level 1 back) with better absorption and distribution of forces during impacts thanks to the TURTLE effect.
High performance algorithm :
The OFF ROAD tracking mode was specially developed for the Dakar. The algorithm makes it possible to better follow the rider's movements in real time, to analyze the situation and detect the fall as soon as possible to activate the inflation of the airbag.
However, for a more versatile use and not just focused on rallying, the vest offers two different modes:
Rallye/Enduro mode: the airbag activates from 20 km/h to detect most falls.
Adventure/trail mode: the airbag is activated from 18 km/h and is more sensitive to fast movements and bumps.
Both of these modes also have a "sun" function that allows the airbag to inflate at low speeds on certain types of falls.

Protection volume :

The OFF ROAD provides 14L of protective volume for maximum impact absorption and coverage of vital areas and rapidly inflates in 80ms.

Do not machine wash, hand wash, immerse in water or dry clean. The only way to clean the airbag is with a soft cloth lightly dipped in soap. Do not use detergent or bleach. We recommend placing them to dry on a hanger in a dry place.
Do not put in the dryer, on a radiator or near a heat source.
Do not iron.
