Combining the protection offered by soft and rigid coatings, the EXT shin guard knee pad has been designed to offer high quality protection. Designed specifically for BMX and Downhill enthusiasts, this protection system features a longer design to protect the tibia in its length. Based on the popular 3DF AirFit range of protective clothing, they feature additional hard protective coated zones for added protection of the tibia. The original 3DF AirFit range is made of soft, ventilated anti-impact foam, flexible in its natural state but hardening immediately on impact to absorb energy and offer maximum protection.

This same foam was used to create the 3DF impact zone of the knee. The new CE-certified and reduced 25% impact profile of the Hybrid EXT model, together with the 3D design, offers a comfortable fit, further enhanced by the adjustable anti-slip cuffs with silicone in print that keep the knee pads in place. The Hybrid EXT knee pads and shin guards scored a total of 19 points on the Leatt protection rating system.
