Description
The years, moreover, in which the legend of Arai was born, with drivers like Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer. They are not replica graphics that embellish the new Arai Concept-X, but it is inevitable to recognize in the motifs on the new helmet of the House of Ohmiya those that pilots and enthusiasts of those years sported at that time
- if you are not really of first hair, those Yellow, red and green motifs will immediately summon the image of some bike, probably Japanese, from your memory. Instead, you have to be a deep connoisseur of the Arai story to understand the meaning of the "HA" logo that stands on the front.
Simple, almost spartan, with a shape of the canopy a little different from the R75 that distinguishes the latest Arai proposals, but this does not imply any compromise in terms of safety: Concept-X exceeds and exceeds the internal standard Arai. The cap is in PB e-cLc, with very smooth and rounded shape possible and reinforced by the patented Peripheral Belt Arai, solution that allows the helmet to deflect the energy of an impact (glance off, to use the English term) without focusing on any Obstacles.
The VAS-VC visor system, a variant of the VAS introduced with the RX-7V with a retro look, further improves the ability to divert energy making the canopy even smoother and more durable even in areas where no approval tests are planned.
The ventilation system has been cleverly hidden in the Concept-X canopy: the air intake on the chin, equipped with two separate interior shutters to manage its opening, is aided by the classic brow vents on the visor (which in doing so does not weaken the outer shell) that will inhale the airflow in the inner circuit towards the lateral and rear-end extractors.
