I like the coverage of the engine protector, especially for the exposed oil filter. It's easy to remove for oil changes. The only issue for me is the thickness of the aluminum and the brackets that hold it on. I haven't damaged mine, but I would fell better if they were more robust. (Escrito el 05/4/2017)

I recently bought Suzuki V- Strom 650XT 2018 and started shop around for accessories. After doing some research I came to conclusion that Givi is a true winner here by making quality products for the affordable price. When I found this shop. Honestly at first I was a little sceptical about services (delivery time) because I never bough from Europe. But Motostorm team had changed it. I could trace my items in real time from departure to my door. Amazing! Thank you!
Ok it’s time to say a couple of things about Givi.
This product is made by the high standard, looks cool, installation was flawless, all parts were made to the bike, easy instructions, great packaging. I wish the metal could be a little more thicker, but as Suzuki V Strom is not truly adventure motorcycle I think the product built for the purpose-adventure touring. I don't plan on doing any heavy off-road riding so this guard works for me. I just want protect from gravel hitting the lower part of my engine. Nice clean install and looks good. Quality of product is very good and I would recommend it for others. (Escrito el 19/11/2018)

Qualität gut und macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Verarbeitung ok - ein paar scharfkantige Grate gibt es allerdings noch.
Montageanleitung mittelmäßig, aber verständlich.
Montage etwas aufwändig, dauert ca. 20-30 Min.
Preis-Leistung sehr gut!

The Suzuki V-strom has an oil filter on the front of the engine and I wanted to protect it. I didn't wanted to install any heavy weight steel protectors and was looking for the aluminum one. This one fits perfectly to my 2016 V-Strom DL650A and looks nice. I am very glad I bought it. (Escrito el 09/2/2019)

This is a wonderful guard for stray rocks coming from the front tire, but the aluminum is quite thin so for anything more serious than riding on a decently maintained dirt road I would get something more robust. (Escrito el 14/3/2020)

Der Givi RP3101 Motorschutz passt sehr gut zum gesamteindruck der Maschine und lässt sich auch ohne Sturzbügel montieren.
Dabei bleibt die Bodenfreiheit weitestgehend erhalten. Zudem ist der Motorschutz, da aus 3 mm Aluminim, im Verhältnis noch relativ leicht.

If you are an adventure rider like me I would recommend GIVI engine protectors, they are really good quality. I have considered many engine protectors and I ended up using GIVI and I cannot complain because it's sturdy and nice looking. When you are traveling on and off-road please keep in mind that this product can save the headache of damaging the engine and scratching valuable plastic pieces. (Escrito el 06/8/2020)

Great engine guard/skid plate. While the instructions and install are very easy, I recommend wearing gloves as the metal edges of the guard is very sharp and you'll cut up your hands pretty quickly. The quality is very good, but it's not as easy to put on as others have written.
Personally, I think two people are needed to install it.
Like a genuine underguard, it can be easily installed if the receiver can be firmly fixed
