La TOURMAX X es la primera Adventure flip up del mercado pensada para todos los propietarios de motos de Enduro y Maxi Enduro. El TOURMAX X es la nueva versión del popular TOURMAX con un nuevo sistema de apertura de mentonera capaz de pasar todas las pruebas requeridas por ECE 22.06 P/J. Como resultado de la larga experiencia adquirida por Caberg, la primera empresa italiana en producir cascos modulares, el TOURMAX X 100% Made in Italy está equipado con una visera que se acerca automáticamente a la visera al abrir la mentonera para minimizar el aire. resistencia.
El TOURMAX X viene con la doble homologación P/J que te permite circular con la mentonera abierta garantizando la seguridad gracias a la palanca P/J en el lado izquierdo del casco. Esta palanca cuando está en la posición “J”, bloquea la mentonera en la posición completamente abierta evitando que la mentonera se cierre accidentalmente. La TOURMAX X está equipada con el exclusivo sistema Double Visor Tech que, gracias a la visera parasol interior fácil de usar, te permite viajar siempre con la luz adecuada y con seguridad. La visera interior del parasol tiene un tratamiento antiarañazos, mientras que la visera transparente exterior no solo es antiarañazos sino también antivaho gracias a la doble lente Pinlock. La ventilación está garantizada por dos amplias aberturas colocadas en la mentonera y en la calota que son fáciles de maniobrar incluso con guantes. El aire se canaliza a través de ranuras en el forro interior que aseguran una perfecta ventilación del casco.
El forro es completamente desmontable y lavable, realizado con tejido transpirable e hipoalergénico para máxima frescura, con inserciones reflectantes en la nuca.
El TOURMAX X tiene un asiento para acomodar el sistema de comunicación Caberg Bluetooth “PRO SPEAK EVO” que permite comunicarse no solo con su propio teléfono móvil y su pasajero, sino también para conectarse a un sistema GPS, escuchar música a través de su móvil o un MP3 jugador. El PRO SPEAK EVO está equipado con Bluetooth A2DP que permite escuchar en estéreo de alta calidad. Para garantizar la máxima seguridad, TOURMAX X pasó todas las pruebas ECE 22.06 también con el Caberg Pro Speak EVO instalado.

This is my 2nd Caberg TourMax. In total, I’ve been with the brand for over 10 years at this point. Most is perfect, with one flaw.
Construction: overall, the helmet is rock solid. All the hinges are smooth, the internal sun visor is easy to access and micro adjustable. Visor is great as well, although one bottom “click” position for optimal airflow, without the visor slapping shut at high speed, would be even better.
Biggest advantage; opposed to many high end brands, the internal sun visor operates from the top of the helmet, leaving the left side open to install a comms unit.
Padding: everything fits comfortably, and the padding is easy to remove/reinstall to fit comms.
Design: the helmet looks noticeably smaller than the Shoei Hornet X2, Klim Krios Pro, etc. , yet, the head fit is just as good, if not better. The duckbill is the perfect size as well, although, it will catch some wind when lifting your head too far. However, that’s a problem most (all) dual sport ADV helmets have.
Closure mechanism: the modular chin is easy to open, lock in position, and close. The ratchet chin strap is perfect, although the Klim Krios Pro magnetic system is better. That’s a minor convenience issue, tho.
The problem: as much as I love the helmet, both of my TourMax have the same issue: there is not enough distance between the front of the helmet and my chin. This appears to be a common issue with these helmets, noted by other riders as well. Just 1cm or 2cm more room, either carved out from the plastic, similar to the bottom “dimple carve” or where the mic is supposed to sit, would make this helmet absolutely perfect.
In all, I will get another TourMax in the future, and hope that they have fixed the chin room issue. Other than that, it’s the best ADV helmet for the money. (Escrito el 24/6/2023)
