The taller screen reduces wind noise considerably compared to the original screen and makes fast riding less fatiguing. The wind protection is also great for cold weather. I noticed wind buffeting on the back of my helmet but that was worth the noise reduction. But beware - the extra wind resistance was too much for the standard fasteners and I strongly recommend upgrading them to avoid my problem: losing it over my head at 120 km/h (speedometer reading) on a motorway.
