The main issue is, again, overall lack of protection. There is a pocket for hip armor but it is not included and although they added aramid woven into the denim the kevlar liner patches have gotten smaller from their already minuscule size. Either the aramid in the yarn is enough for friction protection and you don't need any kevlar liners or it's not enough so you need to make the kevlar patches properly cover the vulnerable areas. You have two massive patch pockets on the rear which you could line with kevlar and vastly improve the friction protection in that particularly vulnerable area without disrupting the manufacturing or design too much.
Instead of trying to cut corners here and there I would like Dainese to make aramid yarn jeans with full kevlar liners in the seat, hips and knees, with the upgraded armor in the knees and hips included. Style them to look like regular denims, make them in various fits (classic, relaxed, slim, skinny, etc), charge $299 and make me feel like you slightly over engineered the product to ensure my safety instead of having me worry you nickel and dimed protection to the absolute minimum (the now sliver of kevlar over the tailbone, for example). Oh, and how about a jacket to pants zipper on jeans since you don't really do belt loop snaps on your jackets like other brands do?
The frustrating thing for me is that Dainese are not a million miles away from nailing it, they just need to set a slightly higher standard of protection and stick to i (Escrito el 11/7/2016)

Fit Great, very Comfortable Valorado por Stephen Sutter

Ive had these Strokevilles for about a month now wearing them almost everyday riding to work (Outside of the days they needed to be washed) And they have been doing great. Obviously you cant expect the best protection in a denim riding pant, but these seem like they would slide well. Also the fit was exactly as expected. Extra Aramid (Kevlar) in high slide areas (Seat, hips, knees) as well as the whole garment being interwoven with the fabric! (Escrito el 27/10/2016)

VERY slimValorado por Ross Evans

I'm 5'10" with a 30" waist and the 30 fits me great. I have skinny legs that are toned with enough calf muscle to notice they exist, and I fill out these jeans completely. They ARE VERY slim. I guess slim jeans to Italians, are skinny jeans to Americans. Luckily they give enough I can still throw a leg over my bike. I'm still giving them a 5* because there's no fault of the jeans, they said they are slim. And they still feel quality made at every stitch. But I'm definitely buying regular fit Dainese from now on. I am an slim, but athletic build. I am 6' tall with relatively long legs and the 31 fits me pretty well. A little big in the waist, I was concerned about going smaller though on account of my thighs and calves. I normally wear a 32" inseam, and these are appropriate for casual wear on and off the bike. Protection is minimal, yes, but these are really meant for your afternoon jaunt to get some coffee, or meet someone somewhere. I have been wearing mine for 3 years now, and while they are showing their age, I do ride in them a lot and any other pair of jeans would be destroyed by now. (Escrito el 27/6/2020)
